The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 was a big widebody trijet that carried 350 passengers in a mixed-class configuration. It featured numerous improvements that provided enhanced fuel efficiency and greater range and capacity than its predecessor, the DC-10. Production of the MD-11 ended in 2001, and most of the MD-11s in service today operate as freighters. This artifact is a genuine fuselage section containing three windows from an MD-11 jetliner. The aluminum window frame has been buffed and polished to a gleaming satin finish. The clear window panels were cleaned and then replaced into the frame to create a spectacular display piece (a hanging wire is included on the back). Certificate of Authenticity is included. Actual window frame may vary slightly from photograph. Measures approximately 58.75"W x 23.3"H x 2.25"D. Weighs approximately 25 lb. Made in USA. *NOTE: This artifact is sold as is with no guarantee that parts maintain original function. Not for flight use.
