Take beverage service to a new level. This remarkable table is built around a Pratt & Whitney JT8D engine rotor disk removed from a retired McDonnell Douglas DC-9 airliner. The rotors, or rotating blades, in a jet turbine engine compress air as it flows through the engine. The titanium blades have been welded upward to create space to hold 12 standard wine bottles under the polished glass tabletop. Rubber bumpers protect bottles from breakage. And that's not all: the cone-shaped table base is made out of the exhaust nozzle from a CFM International CFM56-2 turbofan engine removed from a McDonnell Douglas DC-8 airliner. Certificate of Authenticity is included. Actual pieces may vary slightly from photograph due to natural discoloration. Measures 41.5"H x 42" in diameter. Weighs approximately 200 lb total. Made in USA. *NOTE: This artifact is sold as is with no guarantee that parts maintain original function. Not for flight use.*
