The 757 ecoDemonstrator was part of an ongoing Boeing-industry program to find ways to improve commercial airliners' environmental performance by reducing emissions and noise and enhancing fuel and aerodynamic efficiency. The 757 ecoDemonstrator completed its work in 2015 and is now being recycled using environmental best practices. This ingenious table is made from an access door from the auxiliary power unit on the ecoDemonstrator. The aluminum skin retains its blue and white paint scheme. The table is topped with a sheet of 1/2"-thick polished glass held on custom supports; the table legs are made from cabin seat tracks. A Custom Hangar plaque and Certificate of Authenticity are included. Measures 85"L x 44.5"W x 18"H. Weighs 200 lb (uncrated).
