Boeing 747 Engine Blade With Base

This artifact is as beautiful as a piece of fine art, but it represents a historic achievement in engineering. It's made from an actual blade from a Pratt & Whitney JT9D engine blade that powered a Boeing 747 jetliner. Known as the Queen of the Skies, the Boeing 747 jumbo jet was the largest civilian airplane in the world at its launch and remains one of the most recognizable and beloved airplanes in the world. This special centennial-edition artifact has been cleaned and polished to a satin-smooth metallic finish. It is set into a solid piece of machined aluminum that has been given a metallic gloss-black finish with the official Boeing centennial mark laser-engraved into the surface. A Custom Hangar plaque is affixed to the underside of the base, and a Certificate of Authenticity is included. Each piece is unique and may vary slightly from photograph.
    • Measures approximately 31.5"H x 13" in diameter
    • Weighs approximately 18 lb.
    • Made in U.S.A.
    • *NOTE: This artifact is sold as is with no guarantee that parts maintain original function. Not for flight use.*
