Make a place for history in your home or office. The Boeing 727 jetliner, powered by three rear-mounted Pratt & Whitney JT8D turban engines, was the first trijet introduced into commercial service and the best-selling airliner in the world for many years. Boeing produced more than 1,800 of the versatile jets between 1963 and 1984. These limited-edition barstools are constructed out of parts retrieved from 727 JT8D engines, including a burner can, bearing pocket, and titanium spacer ring, plus a rotor hub case from a JT3 engine used on the 707 and 720 series of Boeing jets. Each part has been cleaned and polished before being assembled and fitted with a comfortable custom-upholstered black leather seat. The set includes two barstools. A Certificate of Authenticity is included. Each barstool measures 31"H x 17" in diameter. Pair weighs 60 lb (uncrated). Made in USA. *NOTE: This artifact is sold as is with no guarantee that parts maintain original function. Not for flight use.*
