The beauty of this unique tabletop sculpture is more than skin deep. It's made from a genuine Pratt & Whitney J57 engine blade used in a Boeing B-52H Stratofortress bomber. Powered by eight 17,000-pound-thrust turbofan engines, the mighty 390,000-pound jet was the United States' first long-range, swept-wing heavy bomber. This historic artifact has been stripped, cleaned, and polished and fitted with an aluminum base that is powder-coated with a matte black finish . The Custom Hangar logo is laser-etched on the underside of the base. Certificate of Authenticity is included. Actual piece may vary slightly from photograph. Measures 8"H x 5" in diameter.
