Known as the Queen of the Skies, the Boeing 747 jumbo jet was the largest civilian airplane in the world at its launch and remains one of the most recognizable airplanes in the world. This artifact is a genuine 747 Pratt & Whitney JT9D engine stator ring that has been refurbished and converted into a wall mirror. The stators, or stationary airfoils, in a jet turbine engine control airflow through the rotor blades. Made from Inconel 750 nickel-chromium alloy, this piece has been given a durable, hand-applied gold luster finish and fitted with a high-quality reflective mirror for an attention-catching display in home or office. Certificate of Authenticity included. Each piece is unique and may vary slightly from photograph. Measures 36" in diameter x 4.75" thick. Weighs approximately 25 lb.
