Product Details

Own history with an actual window from the Queen of the Skies: the Boeing 747 jumbo jet. Since its first flight on February 9, 1969, the 747 fleet has flown 3.5 billion people -- the equivalent of more than half the world's population. This passenger window is from a 747-100 operated from 1971 until its retirement, logging 107,827 flight hours and 21,157 flight cycles. Refurbished and polished by hand, this window is one of a limited number available for private purchase at this time; it would make a striking wall display or picture frame for home or office. This special-edition window frame includes a custom mini-plaque displaying the signature of 747 Chief Engineer Joe Sutter, who is known as the "father of the 747." Certificate of Authenticity included. Actual window frame may vary slightly from photograph. Measures approximately 21.5" x 15.75" x 1.5" (size and weight may vary). Made in U.S.A. NOT FOR FLIGHT USE.
