Item No. "667066010354"

Product Details

Take home a memento of one of the most beloved airliners in history. The Boeing 727 trijet, designed for smaller airports and shorter runways than the 707 jetliner, had a distinctive T-tail with three rear-mounted engines. Boeing built more than 1,830 of the popular jets in several configurations. This artifact is a radio magnetic indicator (RMI) from a 727 instrument panel. The RMI displays an aircraft's magnetic heading and relative bearing to automatic direction finder (ADF) and VHF omnidirectional range (VOR) navigation signals. This piece has been refinished by hand and set in a bracket and base made from hand-polished aircraft-grade aluminum. A Boeing Custom Hangar plaque is attached to bottom of the base. Certificate of Authenticity included. Each piece is unique and may vary slightly from photograph. Measures approximately 8"L x 7"W x 8"H. Made in U.S.A. *NOTE: This artifact is sold "as is" with no guarantee that parts maintain original function. Not for flight use.*
