Product Details

Remember your first flight on a commercial airplane? Chances are good it was a Boeing 727. The 727 jetliner was the first trijet introduced into commercial service and the best-selling airliner in the world for many years. This artifact is a genuine pitot tube from a 727. A pitot tube is a pressure measurement instrument used to determine an aircraft's airspeed. It has been cleaned and polished, attached to a base made from a hand-polished section of fuselage that has been powder-coated with a Boeing Blue finish, and placed in a metal shadow box for wall display. A Custom Hangar plaque is affixed to the back, and a Certificate of Authenticity is included. Actual pitot tube may vary slightly from photograph. Measures 14.75"L x 8.5"W x 4.75"D. Weighs 6 lb. Made in U.S.A. NOT FOR FLIGHT USE.
