727 Engine Rotor Table

Item No. "667066010567"

Product Details

Remember your first flight? There's a good chance it was aboard a Boeing 727 jetliner. The 727, powered by three rear-mounted Pratt & Whitney JT8D turban engines, was the best-selling airliner in the world for many years. This handsome industrial-style table is built around the rotor from a 737 JT8D engine. The rotors, or rotating vanes, in a jet turbine engine compress air as it flows through the engine. The rotor has been topped with a 1/2"-thick sheet of glass and placed on a specially constructed steel base. Airplane bolts with rubber pads form the standoffs supporting the glass tabletop. A Certificate of Authenticity and Custom Hangar keychain are included. Measures 22"H x 26" in diameter. Weighs approximately 97 pounds. Made in USA. *NOTE: This artifact is sold as is with no guarantee that parts maintain original function. Not for flight use.*
