Affectionately called the Red Barn, this former shipyard was the first home of The Boeing Company, which was founded by Bill Boeing in 1916. In this vintage photograph, the Red Barn is shown under guard during World War I. The Red Barn was later moved to the Museum of Flight in Seattle, where it is now on display.
