Product Details

The Boeing 377 Stratocruiser was the civilian version of the C-97 Stratofreighter, which in turn was derived from the B-50 Superfortress. It first flew on July 8, 1947. The Stratocruiser was considered one of the greatest post-war propeller airliners. Extremely complex and expensive to make, only 56 Stratocruiserswere built. It continued in mainline service until 1960. Made from kiln-dried Philippine mahogany. This high-quality, 1:100-scale, hand-carved wood model is 13" long with a wingspan of 16.5". Stand is included (stand style may vary from photograph). Made in Philippines.
