AV-8B Harriers were the first U.S. Marine Corps tactical aircraft in Operation Desert Storm. The aircraft operated from land and ships in the Persian Gulf. During the 42 days of combat, 86 Harrier IIs flew 3,380 combat sorties, 4,112 combat hours, and delivered more than 6 million pounds of ordnance, achieving an aircraft readiness rate greater than 90 percent. This exceptional model of the AV-8B Harrier is produced from Boeing engineering drawings and meticulously painted to resemble the actual aircraft. Made of molded polyurethane, which is sanded and painted and then clear-coated and cured after decals are applied. Model stand included (stand styles may vary). Length: 11.25". Wingspan: 7.375".
